Please join us at our third Green Tea, on Thursday 11 March, at 7.30pm. In the first half, we will have a an expert from Hillier garden centre conducting a free talk on the ‘Basics of growing your own fruit and veg with as little time, space and effort as possible’!

There will also be free seedlings, seed balls, information about local food sources and a chance to get some beginner’s grow-your-own kit! This is a fantastic opportunity and we are very lucky to be sponsored by Hilliers for the event.

It will take place at Adeyfield Free Church, Leverstock Green Road, HP2 4HL. We really hope you can join us to find out about this highly practical way of doing your bit.

Those of you who would like to stay after the talk to take part in the Action Groups can do so, otherwise feel free to return home full of knowledge of the basics of ‘Grow your own’!

REFRESHMENTS AND DISCUSSIONS AFTERWARDS

When filmmaker Josh Fox is asked to lease his land for drilling, he embarks on a cross-country odyssey uncovering a trail of secrets, lies and contamination. A recently drilled nearby Pennsylvania town reports that residents are able to light their drinking water on fire. This is just one of the many absurd and astonishing revelations of a new country called GASLAND. Part vérité travelogue, part expose, part mystery, part bluegrass banjo meltdown, part showdown.
